Volvo EX30 Launch

Event design centred around consumer experiences and sustainability

THIS IS HUGE

We designed an exclusive launch event for Volvo's new electric car, held in central London over two days. The event featured five rooms, each offering a unique sensory experience and Swedish storytelling.

I collaborated with the design and creative directors to develop the event's designs and layouts. While I oversaw and visualised most of the space, my primary focus was on several sensory rooms and the main stage.

The event was highly acclaimed and gained significant social media traction. The agency has since won several awards for the design and has been featured in well-known design blogs and magazines.

To showcase the paint colours, we added small toy versions into bespoke terrariums which helps play with the perspective and sustainability.

The Pine Room was designed as a workshop space where attendees could create their own pine-scented products. The room was crafted to evoke the feeling of a pine forest floor, complete with real moss, ferns, and mist.

Breeze space was designed to create a forced perspective effect - playing on the small is mighty tag line.
