TikTok Live Fest
TikTok Live Fest
TikTok LIVE Fest was a global celebration that brought together top LIVE creators from over 60 countries, featuring vibrant performances and real-time community engagement. The event was designed to inspire, connect, and celebrate creators, highlighting the creativity and community that define TikTok LIVE. From high-energy performances to immersive brand experiences, LIVE Fest was a dynamic showcase of TikTok's impact on the global creator landscape.
Project Overview
My involvement in TikTok LIVE Fest 2024 spanned multiple stages of the project, from the initial pitch through to the Global Event and Conference.
I began by collaborating closely with the Creative Director to design the Main Stage for the pitch, translating mood boards into a compelling visual concept. Once the pitch was successful, I expanded my role to include a variety of event elements, helping to bring the initial vision to life.
For the Global Event, I designed a range of activations, crafting immersive experiences that engaged creators and encouraged content generation. As the project evolved, I also focused on 3D design for the Global Conference, shaping the Main Stage, activations, and the Finale Dinner in collaboration with the Associate Creative Director.
This was a true team effort, working alongside the talented team at Seen and a fantastic network of freelancers, animators, project managers, and production teams. Bringing everything together—across multiple venues—was an incredibly rewarding experience, as we brought the vision from pitch to reality.

Here was several different lighting states for the main stage. The icons were taken straight from the brand, but we wanted to create a way to express different different emotions, moods, and energy through the lighting. This was called the “bloom”.
Here is a short video clip that I did that was used as part of the video teaser on the TikTok socials.
Here’s a side-by-side look at one of my early pitch concepts and the final executed design. While the concept evolved throughout the process, the core vision remained intact, staying true to the original creative design.
Activations.
After the pitch, I focused on designing immersive activations for the Global Event, creating spaces that encouraged creators to go LIVE and engage with their audiences in new and exciting ways. From interactive photo moments to high-energy LIVE battle arenas where creators could face off in competitive stream battles, every activation was designed to enhance content creation and community engagement. And for those needing a break from the buzz, I designed a fur-covered ASMR room, offering a sensory escape where creators could unwind and immerse themselves in calming soundscapes.
3D Visuals
Using Cinema4D and Standard Render, I created a series of detailed visuals of the Roundhouse Venue to help express our vision to the client. To enhance the presentation, I used Photoshop to add subtle embellishments, bringing the concepts to life with an extra layer of polish and realism.

Creators Conference
As part of the extended project, I worked alongside the Associate Creative Director to design engaging spaces and activations for the Creators Conference—a large-scale event following the Global Event, focused on educating creators on how to maximise TikTok’s features. My role was to develop a series of interactive environments that supported this goal, ensuring an engaging and seamless experience.
Some elements carried over from the Global Event, such as the GRWM stations and overarching brand aesthetics, maintaining consistency across the activations. A standout part of this phase was designing the Creators Dinner, where I incorporated DJ staging, ambient lighting, and immersive decor to craft a memorable closing experience for attendees.
3D Visuals
Using SketchUp and V-Ray, I created a series of detailed visuals, balancing a mix of in-situ and isolated renders to adapt to evolving feedback efficiently. Given the tight budget, I was conscious of every design decision, ensuring that all proposed elements were both visually impactful and feasible within production constraints. To enhance the presentation, I used Photoshop to add subtle embellishments, bringing the concepts to life with an extra layer of polish and realism.
