Creating a compelling exhibition design for Berlin fashion week

In my role as lead designer at Office Twelve, I was entrusted with the task of creating a shareable moment for Crocs at About You fashion week, where 18 other brands also participated. This presented a valuable opportunity for brand ambassadors and influencers to attend and create their own memorable experiences with the brands.

Our objective was to craft a fashion moment that would effectively showcase the Crocs brand and align with the current trend for Crocs in the fashion world. Typically, Crocs’ branding strategy is highly vibrant and playful. However, for this event, the brand needed to blend in seamlessly with high-end fashion brands. To accomplish this, we muted the colours and added an elegant touch to ensure that Crocs could confidently hold its own alongside other brands.

These preliminary sketch visuals were utilised in the presentation of our design to the client, as well as during the design intent stage of the project.

These images served as inspiration during the initial ideation stage of the design process. Given the constraints of a small budget, our goal was to leverage the power of lighting to create an iconic and impactful atmosphere.
