Ugg Amsterdam Office

As the lead designer, I collaborated closely with the creative director to develop an interior design concept that embodies the ethos of the client, Uggs, and their innovative approach to work. The primary focus was to create a fun and dynamic office space that promotes flexibility and versatility.

Designing an office with flexible working in mind

To achieve this, we incorporated various seating options that catered to different working styles and preferences. We included collaborative workstations for team projects, focused workstations for individual tasks, and standing desks for those who prefer to work while standing. We also designed cozy lounge areas and informal meeting spaces to provide employees with alternative areas to work and collaborate.

To create a cohesive and visually striking office space, we integrated Uggs’ brand colours and textures into the design elements. We used a combination of warm, earthy tones and natural materials, such as wood and leather, to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that aligns with the brand’s identity.

Overall, the final design concept achieved the client’s objective of creating a fun, functional, and flexible office space that reflects Uggs’ values and new way of working.

When it came to the visuals in this project, I knew I wanted to make an impact. I turned to my trusty tools – SketchUp and Photoshop – to bring my vision to life. While I love creating photo-realistic renders for many of my projects, I decided to take a different approach this time. By using a sketch-style approach, I was able to let the design take center stage. No more getting bogged down by the minute details of a photo-realistic render that have no bearing on the overall design. This project was all about making an impression, and with Sketch and Photoshop by my side, I knew I could make it happen
